Alex walked along the green grass, smelling the fresh scent of newly cut grass, as the sun shined brightly on him. He put on his white New York Yankees hat and placed his black headphones into his ears. He blasted Whispers in the Dark by Skillet, while focusing on the area ahead of him. He soon shifted his gaze upward toward the sky, hearing a bird call out above him. Letting out a low chuckle, he made his way toward the giant sand box, and sat in the sand. He pulled his jeaned covered knees up to his chest, and picked up some of the yellow, grain, warm sand. He let the grains fall between his fingers, watching every last one run helplessly toward the sand.
He laughed quietly to himself as he stared at the clouds above, trying to distinguish the different shapes in the white and fluffy clouds. He snorted when he couldn't, and rolled onto his stomach, before getting up and walking underneath a tree. He leaned against the rough brown bark, before sliding slowly down it as to not scrape up his back, and landed on the mixture of dirt, soil, and grass below him. He pulled his knees to his chest again while wrapping his skinny arms around them, staring at people passing by.

Vanessa kicked a rock up on to the sidewalk as she crossed the road, she didn't know what she was doing but she just couldn't stand being locked up in the house any longer - she may not know anyone yet but she was willing to introduce herself to anyone that looked interesting to her. As Vanessa walked up onto the sidewalk she tripped over the gutter and landed face first onto the walkway, she rolled over and began to laugh hysterically - people must think shes nuts, but she didn't care she was enjoying herself and thats all that mattered.
Vanessa slowly calmed down and sat up, she fixed her hair and stood up - dusting herself off as she did so, she liked getting down and dirty but not in this kind of way. She turned around and looked up at the park, it looked peaceful and calm a place where she could hang out and not get annoyed by others - with that she walked up, observing her surroundings - she saw a guy stand up and sit under a tree, but she didn't want to bother him so she went and laid down on the park bench and closed her eyes, she was happy.

Alex closed his eyes, listening to the noises around him, slowing his breathing down while he relaxed. He hugged his knees tighter, leaning his head back against the tree, and listening to "Another Bottle Down" by Asking Alexandria. He hummed quietly to it, as he subconsciously picked at the buckles on his pants. He let out a slow sigh, as he opened his eyes, and reached into his back pocket for his pack of smokes. He pulled out one of his Marlboros, popped out his orange BIC lighter, lit the cigarette, and put it to his mouth. His lips slowly opened for it, and when they closed around the cigarette, he inhaled deeply, before blowing it out his nose. He loved when people did that; they looked like bulls to him. A couple smoke rings, and letting the smoke just flow out of his mouth later, he put out the butt into the soil around him, and left it there.
Out of no where, he heard this hysterical laughter coming from a female by the sidewalk. His gaze shifted over to her fast, and he gasped, seeing her on the ground. As Alex got up to go ask her if she was okay, he watched her make her way to the park bench. After a deep inhale of breath, he mustered up the courage to go and check to see if she was okay. He slowly walked over to where she was, and quietly examined her to see if there were any wounds. Her eyes were closed, but if they were open, she'd probably think of him as some freak or pervert. He opened his mouth to talk, but all that came out was a breath of air. He wet his dry mouth with his saliva, a blush attacking his cheeks, as he muttered out a quiet, "Hey...are...are you ok?" He shifted his weight and shuffled his feet, while staring now innocently at the ground, waiting for her reply.

Vanessa sighed deeply as she enjoyed the sun, out of know where a shadow appeared along with a voice that seemed a little nervous?, her eyes slowly opened and a smile took over face "oh, Im alright" she said timidly as she sat up, trying to not be rude. Vanessa was surprised that the guy got up just to see if she was ok, she was curious to know if everyone that lived around here were the same, maybe not but oh well, she moved her hand to her face to shield the sun from her eyes and also to get a better look at the towering gentleman "Would you like to sit down?" she asked him curiously as she looked to the empty spot beside her; she knew he wouldn't be interested in socializing with a loner like herself, but it was worth a shot.
Vanessa was a little nervous and excited at the same time, her mind was screaming a new friend - but she also was a little nervous what kind of things this guy wanted to know/talk about but she didn't mind.
